A place for Cornish men to meet, talk and feel less alone.

NED'S SHED.

Let's talk.

Ned's Shed is a real and virtual space to meet, have a brew, share what's on your mind—or simply listen.

No judgement. No pressure. Just good company.

Let's talk

Sometimes the hardest words are the first ones.

We're Cornish men. We're supposed to be as tough as the landscape around us. At least, that's what we're often told.

But bottling things up can leave any of us feeling isolated. Ned's Shed gives you somewhere easy-going to meet other men, share as much or as little as you like, and remember that you're not the only one.

You don't need a diagnosis and you don't need to prepare what to say. Turn up, put the kettle on and take it from there. It's company that counts.

How it works

Start wherever feels comfortable.

Join a local get-together or drop into a video chat. Talking is welcome, listening is enough.

01

Find your Shed

Tell us roughly where you are and whether you'd prefer to meet locally or join online.

02

Come as you are

There's no formal appointment. Join us for a walk, a brew, an activity or a relaxed chat.

03

Be heard

Share what's on your mind, listen to someone else or just enjoy some decent company.

Life in the Shed

More than a talking shop.

Conversation often comes more naturally when you're doing something alongside someone.

Friends walking together in the countryside
Fresh-air meet-ups
Food cooking on a barbecue
Food and good company
A man enjoying a community sports event
A bit of a laugh
Friends connecting through an online video chat
Online when you can't get there

Real conversations start when someone feels able to go first.
